Michelle Tam has been in training profession for over 20 years.   She has worked for major corporations in different industries, e.g. banking, insurance, public utility, retail and hospitality.  Before becoming  training consultant, she was with a Fortune 500 insurance company.  Working in this financial corporation, she first was responsible for the training and development activities of Asian countries.  Hence, she has extensive training delivery experience across the Asia region.  She conducted training in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia and Cambodia.   She was based in Beijing for 7 years and working in a cooperation between a US corporation and a Chinese SOE (State Owned Enterprise) which required her to lead her team to deliver training all over China.

She helped identifying corporation’s training needs based on the corporation’s business strategies and direction; recommended and delivered training and development solutions.  She has been involving in delivering a variety of management and leadership training, strategic planning, communication and interpersonal skills training, sales and service training as well as team building programs.  In the past years, Michelle’s participants consist of different levels from general managers, senior and middle management to frontline sales and service staff.   She is also a trainer for the renowned “Enneagram” personality theory.

On Michelle’s academic background, she was a graduate from Chinese University of Hong Kong and she earned her MBA from Strathclyde University, UK.
